Angela Chaney, a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, is a CPA and currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, John. She likes reading and traveling and has combined these two interests into a travel blog which reads like short stories of their adventures. The blog not only includes entries about the places she and John have been to, but also family events which include the people she loves. She took a deep interest in her ancestry and began researching the history of all her family. It was the combination of this research, her love of reading, and her blogging that led to her writing. She sat down and wrote a short story based on factual events which she had learned through her studies in ancestorial research. Eventually, all this led to her first published novel, A Girl Named Willow, whose cover was illustrated by her 12 year old nephew, Atticus. While working full-time, Angela is currently working on her next novel.
